  • Ahu is the Service Line Leader of Consumer Panels in Turkey and Globally. Previously, she worked as the Director responsible from Consumer Panels, On Premise Panels and MENA, Central Asia and Europe regions.

    She has more than 15 years of experience managing household panels & client service. She established various individual consumption panels, test panels, smoker panel and many other panel projects.

    She also lead largest continuous life styles and attitudes survey; «Guide to Understanding Turkey". She holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Middle East Technical University.

  • After finishing the secondary education in Pertevniyal Lisesi, Başak Şengül completed her undergraduate education in her dream school, İstanbul University Faculty of Communications. Her long run desire to be “the reporter” turned into a clear decision in college years. Şengül decided to go for the best in the industry and follow her passion for reporting, so she started to work as an intern at CNNTürk in 2000, and continued as a correspondent for six years after graduating from college. In 2006, she started to moderate “Gece Görüşü” program for three years, then prepared and presented “Farkında Mısınız?” for six months again in CNNTürk.

    In 2009 Şengül worked as an anchorwoman in HaberTürk for a brief period. By September 2009 she was back home in CNNTürk, where she continues with “Bugün” program during the weekdays and follows the agenda in “Akıl Çemberi” on Fridays.

    In 2005, Şengül is awarded with Türkiye Gazeteciler Cemiyeti Achievement Award in the category of news for the series “AB Yolunda Zorlu Başlık: Çocuk İşçiler” [Challenging Chapter on the way to EU: Child Workers]. Şengül is an advocate of affirmative action for children and women in the context of news production. Along the political agenda, educational and scientific developments, she closely follows all news that held hope and represent good examples to the future.

    Şengül is fluent in English. She is interested in Wing Chun, kickboxing and photography, drawing, occasionally swims when she finds the chance. She loves to travel, explore and experience new tastes; likes to follow travelling and cooking shows.

  • Cliff Young is President of Ipsos Public Affairs in the United States, and he also leads Ipsos’ global election and polling risk practice. He is a polling expert with specialties in social and public opinion trends, crisis management, corporate and institution reputation, and elections.

    Young is a contributor to POTUS Radio and has served as an expert commentator on Fox News and NPR, among others. Cliff is also an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins SAIS and an instructor at both Columbia University SIPA and University of São Paulo where he teaches courses on public opinion and election forecasting.

  • In his role he works with a wide range of brands and public sector organisations to combine market research with behavioural science, creating new and innovative solutions to long standing strategy and policy challenges.

    Colin is a published author (Humanizing Big Data), speaker and contributor to a wide variety of industry publications. He also publishes much of his writing on Facta+ Magazine.

  • Hamdi Ulukaya is founder, Chairman and CEO of Chobani, one of the fastest growing food companies in the last decade and a pioneer for the natural food movement.

    Raised in a dairy-farming family in a small village in eastern Turkey, Ulukaya launched Chobani in 2007 with the mission and vision of making better food more accessible. In less than five years, Chobani became the No. 1–selling Greek Yogurt brand in the U.S. with more than a billion dollars in annual sales. In 2017, Chobani was named to Fortune’s ‘Change the World’ list of companies, and last year it was honored with a Salute to Greatness Award by The Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change.

    Ulukaya has always made helping people and having a positive impact on communities a priority for Chobani. From the beginning, the company has donated a portion of its profits to charitable causes, many of them in Idaho and New York where its products are made. A champion of reducing income and wealth inequality nationwide, Ulukaya advocated in support of a proposal to increase the minimum wage in New York that ultimately became law. In addition, Ulukaya implemented a groundbreaking profit-sharing program for the company’s 2,000 employees. He also took the rare step in manufacturing of instituting a six week, fully paid parental leave program for all of the company’s mothers and fathers.

    In 2016, Ulukaya launched the Chobani Food Incubator to mentor and support socially responsible food entrepreneurs and further deliver on the company’s mission to provide better food for more people.

    A devoted humanitarian, Ulukaya founded the Tent Partnership for Refugees to mobilize the private sector to improve the lives & livelihoods of the more than 25 million refugees around the globe. He also signed the Giving Pledge and committed the majority of his personal wealth to the cause. For these efforts, he was named an Eminent Advocate by the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and received the United Nations Foundation Global Leadership Award, among other recognitions. Ulukaya was also named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in the World for his work on the refugee crisis and his innovative approach to business.

    Ulukaya sits on the board of the Pathfinder Village and The American Turkish Council. Most recently, Ulukaya became a member of the B Team, a collective of global leaders working to inspire dialogue and business action for a fairer, greener and more human economy. A big fan of independent films and the Turkish soccer team Fenerbahce, Ulukaya lives in New Berlin, N.Y.

  • Jill has worked on the research agency side, mainly with Synovate and Ipsos, for over 30 years. Based in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong, she has held a variety of roles in client service and management, with responsibility for teams and businesses across Asian and European markets. Jill is an ‘all-rounder’, with experience in qual and quant research, with many clients, markets, brands and teams.

    Starting her career in London in 1986, she left for Hong Kong in 1991, where she joined Asia Market Intelligence, the pre-cursor to Synovate. Moving to Tokyo in 1994 and working with international agency Lyncs for two years, she returned to Hong Kong for a further 12 years, where she led the Synovate business in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea, as well as HSBC and Prudential regional accounts.

    Jill moved back to the UK in 2009 to run Synovate UK until Ipsos acquired the company in 2011.

    In her current role as Ipsos Chief Client Director for the Unilever account, Jill focusses on elevating the partnership with Unilever and finding new, more agile research solutions to meet clients’ needs for fast, flexible solutions to help them bring innovations to market much more quickly, based on strong needs and insights.

  • Kirsty is a proven business leader in consumer insight. In 1997 she co-founded the Flamingo Group which grew under her coleadership to become one of the largest specialist qualitative and cultural consultancy agencies in the world, with a network of eight offices across four continents. Flamingo won many industry awards including Insight Agency of the year in the UK on 4 occasions. The business was acquired by Omnicom in 2007. On leaving Flamingo in 2017 Kirsty took a year’s break from the world of insight and completed a Masters in Health and International Development at the London School of Economics, graduating with distinction and winning the prize for best overall performance and best dissertation.

    In October 2018 Kirsty assumed the role of CEO at Big Sofa Technologies. Kirsty’s interest has always been in inspiring and leading businesses in bringing new approaches, disciplines and outputs to innovation, marketing and insight clients. Her focus at Big Sofa is on building a video analytics technology company capable of driving innovation (particularly in behaviour-led research) in the insight and analytics industry. Kirsty is a founder trustee of Purposeful Productions, a charitable organisation working in West Africa with adolescent girls. Hence the focus of her Masters.

  • Prof. Narlı is Chairperson and Professor of Political Sociology at Bahçeşehir University (BAU); Founding Director of the Center for Health, Society and Prevention Studies (CHSPS) at BAU. Narli holds a degree in Education with a major in Philosophy and minor in Sociology; and MSc in Humanities with a major in Logic, the Philosophy of Science and Philosophy from the Middle Eastern Technical University, Ankara, Turkey. She holds a PhD in Social Sciences with a major in Political Sociology from the School of Comparative Social Sciences, University Sains Malaysia. She has worked on irregular migration in the Balkans and the Middle East and refugee integration for more than a decade and published extensively in the field of Syrian refugees and their social inclusion. Her other interest in research and teaching include the followings: Islamist movements, civil-military relations and political memory.

  • Rimantas (Rimas) started his market research career in TNS Gallup in Lithuania in 2002. He joined Ipsos MORI in London in 2004. He has over 17 years of experience in market research, which spans geographically and research technique-wise.

    In Aug 2010 Rimas has moved to Russia and managed Ipsos Connect department until Jul 2018, specializing in brand communication research.

    Since Jul 2018 Rimas has been leading Client Organization in Ipsos in Russia.

  • He completed his bachelor’s degree in Istanbul Technical University Industrial Engineering and his Master’s degree in Marmara University Industrial Engineering programs.

    Having started in 1997 at Nielsen, his career has been going on for nearly 22 years.

    He participated in the founding team of KMG in 2001. After Ipsos’ acquisition of KMG, he worked as Ipsos Loyalty Managing Director and Executive Board Member in Ipsos in Turkey for 8 years.

    Since 2015, he has been working as CEO of Ipsos in Turkey.

  • Stuart has 25+ years of experience and has worked in Asia, USA and Europe exclusively on the agency side for both innovative start ups as well as established companies. His focus has been on helping clients with innovation and understanding motivations,

    His role at Ipsos is to inspire, guide and support Ipsos teams and clients in staying up to date on shopper trends and e-Commerce and designing shopper research and ensuring actionability.

Participation to the conference will be only through donating minimum 600 TRY per person to ACAO(All Children are Ours)*.
Collected donations will support the education of children in Balat. A Maker Lab will be established in
Kırımlı Aslanbey Primary School and a certain number of children will be able to go to summer school
Each conference donation will support the Maker Lab as well as will cover the expense of 1
child to participate the summer school.Our goal is to make sure that minimum of 100 children will
go to summer school while establishing the Maker Lab.
When a group of 3 people donate, they will have the right to invite 1 more person as a guest.
